About Me
DeepCreekLake2020-0411.jpg

I have been creating collages since 2013. I didn’t see myself as an artist. I was simply a woman with Parkinson’s who was using collage as an exercise for the brain and muscles. I didn’t know that I would enjoy this art form as much as I do or that I would find a voice through collage.

Inspiration comes from many sources -- people, nature, life as it happens. Trees are a recurring theme in my collages and have been from the beginning. Sometimes when I am in need of inspiration, I hunt down poems that create strong images in my mind.

I have always been drawn to art that tells me a story. Romare Bearden’s collages are inspiring, Matisse’s cutouts make me happy, and I love the work of Kara Walker

That’s enough about me. Hope you enjoy my creations.

Staying in Touch

If you would like an occasional email letting you know about new works, please go to my Contact page and send me your email address.

Why is there no "buy" button?

The one good thing Parkinson's has given me is my art. I am not interested in the business side of art. If you would like a print, contact me. All I ask is that you make a donation to a local or national organization that supports people with movement disorders.

Thanks!
